We proudly offer a challenging academic curriculum supplemented with a variety of extracurricular programs and services that enhance the student learning experience. Students have the opportunity to participate in activities such as athletics and music classes.

We also offer a full range of support services and program offerings that enhance student learning. With these special programs, we meet the needs of gifted and talented students as well as those who come to JFK in need of special education services.

Parent Support

Educational research consistently shows that students with active family involvement do better at school. We enjoy exceptional parental support at JFK.

PTO
Our PTO hosts fundraising events and other school activities to promote school spirit; nurture positive relationships between families and teachers; and raise funds for equipment, supplies, and programs.

We invite all parents and teachers interested in being part of this dynamic group to attend our monthly meetings. Please contact the school office for more details

Watch D.O.G.S.
Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is a safe schools initiative in which fathers and father figures volunteer at JFK. Watch D.O.G.S. monitor the front entrance during morning bus arrival, check outside doors to be sure they are locked, complete a safety check of the track and playground, monitor the lunchroom and hallways, work with kids in the classrooms, and have lunch with their children. Please contact us if you are interested in joining our team.

WOISD Attendance Policy

We require students to attend 90% of the academic school year. After ten consecutive absences, a student may be administratively withdrawn. Parents and students may receive a summons to appear in attendance court.
